Some would say the most important tool in the kitchen is a quality knife. But how will it make cooking easier? Chef Hal Pedersen, owner of Taco Montes & Valhalla Meadery frequently awes the group when he demonstrates consistent eye contact while chopping vegetables into tiny pieces.

Perfect your professional knife skills, to include proper grip, chopping, dicing, slicing and chiffonade/julienning, along with best practice sharpening skills while contributing to our Mexicana fare dinner menu. Every guest will use a Zwilling Pro series knife for this class.


  • Pico de Gallo for some dicing, mincing, and chiffonade
  • Escebeche to practice slicing
  • Fajitas - great for practicing how to julienne onions & peppers
