You can find canned hearts of palm in the international aisle of your local grocery store.
Ingredients
- 1 can hearts of palm, cut into ½ inch chunks
- 2 large oranges, peeled, sliced, and pith removed
- ¼ red onion, sliced thin and soaked in salty water for at least 30 minutes
- 2 heads of Bibb lettuce
For the Vinaigrette
- ½ cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Zest from 1 lemon
- Juice from ½ lemon
- Zest and juice from ½ orange
- 1 tbsp maple syrup

Directions
Put all salad ingredients on a platter or bowl.
Separately, add all vinaigrette ingredients to a mason jar and shake.
Drizzle the dressing over the salad, sprinkling a little flaky salt (optional) on top.
