Gluten Free Rapid Ready Sourdough Starter - La Cuisine
We created our Rapid Ready Sourdough Starters to dramatically shorten the time it takes to go from dehydrated sourdough to an active, ready-to-use starter. While making a starter from scratch can take up to 3 weeks and rehydrating a traditional dehydrated starter can take 4-6 days, our Gluten-Free Rapid Ready Sourdough Starter is uniquely developed to be ready to use in as little as 24 hours. Each order of Gluten-Free Rapid Ready Sourdough Starter is 50 grams and includes rehydration instructions and a recipe for a crusty, gluten-free sourdough loaf of bread. We also include instructions for feeding and maintaining your starter once it’s rehydration. Before beginning your starter you will need to make a 50/50 blend of teff and brown rice flour to feed it. Once you mix your starter it will need to be placed in a warm area to grow. If it is kept under 70 degrees F it will take longer to come to life.
