At the turn of the 20th Century, the Rainbow Ranch Lodge was born with the name, The Halfway Inn, located halfway between Bozeman and Yellowstone National Park. In 1945, the Halfway Inn was sold and renamed as the Rainbow Ranch Lodge. While sold several times over the last 80 years, the Rainbow has accumulated many culinary awards, the most recent, a Wine Spectator Award in 2020.
In August 2024, native Montanan, Chef Nick Mehmke joined the Lodge as Executive Chef. Chef Nick has 17 years of diverse culinary experience and has been a leader across kitchens in the Midwest, West Coast and locations all across the state of Montana. His previous roles include the launch of Buffalo Blanc in Great Falls, and Executive Chef at Pier 290 in Williams Bay, WI, and 320 Guest Ranch in Big Sky, MT. This is your chance to learn more about Nick's passion for farm to table dining, directly related to his time as an Organic Farmer and Private Chef.
The menu will be posted as soon as possible.
