In honor of National Sandwich Day, November 3, give this super easy hot sandwich recipe a try! Make it spicy if you choose, or go with this ultimate comfort-food version.
Ingredients

1 package (12 oz) Hawaiian Sweet Rolls

1 Tbls Honey Mustard

ยผ cup Mayo

1 Tbls Creamy Horseradish

12 thin slices Ham

6 slices Swiss Cheese

ยฝ cup Butter, cubed

2 Tbls Brown Sugar

1 Tbls Honey Mustard

ยฝ tsp Worcestershire sauce

ยผ tsp Garlic Powder

ยฝ tsp Poppy seeds

Directions
Slice the row of buns in half. Put the bottoms of the buns in a 9โ square baking pan.
Combine mayo, mustard and horseradish sauce in a small bowl.
Spread roll bottoms with horseradish, mayo & mustard mixture. Layer with ham and cheese; replace roll tops.
In a small skillet, heat butter over medium heat. Add onion; cook and stir 1-2 minutes or until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour over rolls. Refrigerate covered for several hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 350ยฐ. Bake covered 25 minutes, Bake uncovered 5 min longer or until golden brown.

Personally, I prefer honey mustard over spicy, but if spicy is your preference, go for it! The original recipe called for just horseradish sauce, so that is an option, too.
