1 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
½ cup heavy cream, divided
2 oz grated Parmesan, divided
2 tsp fresh minced thyme, divided plus more for garnish
2 tsp garlic cloves, minced
2 oz shredded Gruyère
Salt and pepper to taste
