These crostini are perfect for holiday parties, last-minute guests, or just for snacking solo. The recipe easily doubles or triples, so you can feed as many as you wish.
15 oz goat cheese, crumbled
1 pear, cored and thinly sliced
15 oz whole milk ricotta
1 cup chopped dates
½ cup walnut halves or pieces
1 baguette
Preheat your oven to 375°F. Slice your baguette into ¼-½” inch thick slices and arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
When you’re 30 minutes away from serving, pop your baguette slices in the oven and set a timer for 15 minutes.
While they toast, toss your pear slices with a little lemon juice and prepare your ingredients. The order on each baguette slice will be: ricotta, pear slice, goat cheese crumbles, date bits, walnuts.
Once lightly toasted, transfer your baguette slices from your baking sheet to a serving tray, and assemble your crostini. Serve and enjoy!
Drizzle with honey if extra sweetness is what you're after!
